The 2022 Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt has ended. Thanks to everyone who participated and entered to win the prizes. The winners have been contacted and are listed below:
3rd place ($75 Amazon gift card): Rebecca H.
2nd place ($150 Amazon gift card): Sabrina N.
1st place ($200 Amazon gift card): Michaela H.
Here’s how it works: At each author’s blog post, you will find a question that can be answered by checking out the free Amazon preview of their book. Provide the answer at this form. Note: You must answer the questions for every author in the round-robin to be considered to win the $200 first place, $150 second place or $75 third place Amazon gift cards. (These prizes are USD values. If you are not a U.S. resident, you will get a gift card from the Amazon store for your country; however, it will be valued at these USD amounts.) At the end of my post is a link to the next blogger, who will provide a link to the next blog, etc., to the very end.
Thousands of people are stranded every year during the Christmas holidays. Mostly in airports. But being stranded during the holidays didn’t start with air travel, or just in the last century.
My characters in Destination Christmas are witness to that. In this Christmas novella, a train leaves The Dalles, OR on December 16th and is stranded by an avalanche at Starvation Creek between The Dalles and Portland, OR. The idea for this story was based on the very real incident that happened in 1884.
I took the tiny nugget of stranded passengers and ran with it, adding a hunky cowboy, a ranch owner’s daughter reluctantly on her way to Portland to be introduced to high society, a gaggle of children, and a soon-to-be mother. The combination resulted in a sweet romance between Creed and Katie.
Destination Christmas is available as a standalone ebook and is also included in my Calico Trails Romance series where characters will find themselves lost, stranded, abandoned, castaway, and traveling to unknown places.
Hope you’ll join Creed and Katie on their journey this Christmas!
I also hope you’re having fun on this scavenger hunt! Go to the book on Amazon AT THIS LINK. You will be taken to Calico Trails Romance Collection but Destination Christmas is the first book in this collection, so you will have no problem finding it in the Look Inside feature. Enjoy the excerpt and then find the answer to this question:
What is the name of the rambunctious little boy in Destination Christmas?
When you have the answer, FILL OUT THIS FORM and head on to the next blog!
Thank you so much for visiting! The next author on the tour is Lynette Eason, who is telling us all about her Christmas book Rescue Mission. You can find it at this link:
2022 Christmas Scavenger Hunt Round-Robin: Rescue Mission
Remember that the round-robin will end on December 11th at 11:59 M EST!
Have fun and Merry Christmas!
It appears the link to Amazon for the book Rescue Mission by Lynette Eason doesn’t work. I couldn’t find it, so that I could continue with this 2022 Christmas Scavenger Hunt. Thanks for helping. Lual Krautter
Lual, so sorry you had problems with the link to the next blog post. Please try again as it is working now.
If for some reason, the link still doesn’t work when you click on it in the blog post, click on this link to try again: https://lynetteeason.com/2022-christmas-scavenger-hunt-round-robin-rescue-mission/
Thank you so much for participating in the Round-Robin!
Merry Christmas!
Make sure it’s on the Kindle option. Otherwise you won’t get the look inside thingy.
Thanks for stopping by, Ethelann! Hope you’re having fun on the Scavanger Hunt. 🙂
Your comment had me going on a hunt to double-check and I could see the excerpt under both the kindle version and the print version. One scrolls to the right and one scrolls down… isn’t that weird that they don’t scroll the same direction?
And one browser pulled the excerpt up quickly while another took its sweet time. Sometimes I think the internet likes to play games with us!!
